Call for Papers

CALL FOR PAPERS/ POSTERS

Original, unpublished papers that highlight research results, projects, industry experience and literature reviews are invited on (but not restricted to) the proposed sub themes:

  • Contemporary issues in feminism vis-à-vis health and identity
  • Perspectives on social, psychological and biological identity of women
  • Social, biological and psychological approaches to mental and physical health in women
  • Health identity in women: its construction and implications
  • Positive psychology, health and identity in women
  • Politics and economics of women’s health
  • Gendered health and identity
  • Non-reproductive health in women
  • Relational gender identity politics
  • Women’s health, social deprivation and personal identity
  • Social and personal perspectives of self and health identity
  • Feminism as Identity ontology
  • Building health, constructing womanhood

 

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT

The abstract should not be of more than 250 words and should include:

Abstract           MS word, Arial (size 12 points), single spacing

Keywords        MS word, Arial (size 12 points), italicized, indented five spaces from the left margin

 

The abstract should briefly include the purpose of study, material and method, results and conclusions. At the bottom of the page, please indicate the category (thrust area/ subtheme) and the preference for presentation (oral/ poster). The name of the presenting author should be underlined and his/her email address should be mentioned.

Abstract should be submitted through email (ncgp2016@iisuniv.ac.in). One hard copy of the abstract must accompany the registration form along with the registration fee. The abstracts of only registered candidates will be considered for oral/ poster presentations. All the submitted abstracts will be scrutinized by a reviewing committee and information of acceptance will be sent through email to the presenting/ corresponding author.

ORAL/ POSTER PRESENTATION

Oral Presentation

  • For each presentation a time of seven minutes will be given
  • Presentation should be prepared in  MS Power Point and brought to the conference on USB memory stick
  • Standard Audio- Visual equipment will be provided for the presentation

Poster Presentation

  • Size of the poster should be 1X 1
  • Pins and stand will be provided by the organization
  • Poster should be legible enough to be viewed from a distance of 4 feet
